The annual Young Researchers’ Roundtable Breakfast provides early-career researchers the opportunity to share their research findings with established local Komen Scholars, breast cancer survivors and those living with Stage IV/metastatic breast cancer (MBC). The goal of the event is to move closer to finding the cures to breast cancer by encouraging open dialogue between Komen Scholars, researchers, clinicians, survivors, and individuals living with MBC, while developing a passionate, informed, and supportive community in the Triangle.

The annual Finding Solutions Through Science, Scholars, & Survivors Research Luncheon brings together a unique audience of researchers, scientific thinkers, corporate and private donors, breast cancer survivors, thrivers, caregivers, and advocates from across the Triangle. Komen NCTC will also recognize survivors and thrivers, co-survivors, volunteers, health professionals and community partners who have made an impact in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. VIP Cocktail Reception
An invitation-only event, the VIP Cocktail Reception allows donors, sponsors, breast cancer survivors, and Komen-funded researchers to network in an intimate setting. Attendees will be treated to an evening of hor d’oeurves, drinks, and remarks by the keynote speaker of the Finding Solutions Research Luncheon.
