Grandma B’s Banana Bread



1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 bananas
1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


  1. Cream butter and sugar together
  2. Add  banana, eggs, vanilla, sour cream
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Mix in chocolate chips/walnuts
  5. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 50 minutes
