Ascom ‘Bundles Up’ to Support Susan G. Komen

By Pam O’Connor, Senior Marketing Director, Ascom Americas

When Jack Langsam, Senior Product Mobility Manager for Ascom Americas, designed the company’s ‘Bundle Up’ mobility promotion to drive sales for distributors in the last quarter of 2020, he knew he wanted to include a philanthropic aspect to create interest and excitement.

“I have several close relatives who are breast cancer survivors and live in the Triangle and so I’ve participated in the Race for the Cure,” Jack shared. “Due to my exposure to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, I was confident that it is a non-profit that aligns well with Ascom’s corporate mission and initiatives, and would be good stewards of our donation.”

The limited-time Bundle Up! Ascom Myco 3 Promotion and Trade-In Program encouraged customers to migrate to the company’s newest Wifi and DECT smartphones by offering low priced bundles of 50, 100 or 250 that included handsets, licenses, chargers, batteries, and accessories. In addition to saving thousands, participants received account trade-in credit for every Ascom or competitor handset returned in the amount up to the bundle purchased. But the best part? Ascom agreed to donate $5 for every handset sold as part of the program to the Susan G. Komen® Breast Cancer Foundation as part of its #AscomCares program supporting causes dear to employees and their communities!

Team Ascom was proud to recently deliver a $5,000 donation to the Komen Foundation to fight breast cancer. And while it’s not yet safe to gather in large numbers for the big races, walks and other events that are mainstays of non-profit awareness and fundraising, we look forward to the day (hopefully soon!) when it’s possible for huge crowds to rally in support of the vital work of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
